Willi Worch

Willi Worch (born July 26, 1896 in Strasbourg , † November 23, 1972 in Karlsruhe ) was a German NSDAP functionary . During the Nazi era, he was a long -time assessor at the People's Court and in this position was involved in numerous death sentences in the Nazi war justice system.

Life

Willi Worch was born as the son of the joiner Adam Worch and his wife Sophie. Stalk born. After attending elementary and trade school, he completed training as a beer brewer . After his military service during the First World War , he worked as a brewer in two Karlsruhe breweries from 1919 to 1932. From 1914 to 1923 Worch was a member of the Brewery and Mill Workers' Association.

Since 1923 he was active in ethnic-national groups and on January 1, 1926 became a member of the NSDAP ( membership number 24.375) and the SA , to which he belonged until 1930. Between 1927 and 1929 Worch was district leader of the Karlsruhe district of the NSDAP and between 1930 and 1935 city councilor with the mandate of the NSDAP. From 1930 to 1932 Worch was section head of the NSDAP Karlsruhe-Südstadt and was appointed district leader of Karlsruhe in the summer of 1932, a full-time position he held from January 1, 1933 to the end of 1944.

In 1933 Worch joined the NSV and in 1935 became a member of the NS Fliegerkorps . He was born in 1935 with Erika. Riedner married. From this marriage there were four children. In 1936 he became a member of the Reich Air Protection Association (RLB). Between 1937 and 1944 Worch was an assessor at the People's Court .

Worch was arrested on April 26, 1945. After the decision of the ruling chamber of the Ludwigsburg internment camp on July 16, 1948, which classified him as a minor offender based on the testimony of exonerating witnesses , he was released from prison. In the meantime, he was viewed by the Karlsruhe Central Appeals Chamber in their appeal decision of January 17, 1950 as a suspect.

Worch has been working as a sales representative since 1949.
