William Kong

William Kong (also Bill Kong ) ( Chinese  江志強  /  江志强 , Pinyin Jiāng Zhìqiáng ) (* 1953 ) is a Chinese film producer whose best-known work Tiger and Dragon won the British Academy Film Award for best film , the Golden Horse Film Festival -Award and the Hong Kong Film Award and was also nominated for an Oscar .

Also awarded are Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles ( 2006 , "Best Asian Movie" - Hong Kong Film Awards) and Lust, Caution ( 2007 / 08 , "Best Asian Movie" - Hong Kong Film Awards and "Best Film" - Golden Horse Awards).

Kong is the managing director of the company "Edko Films", which is based in Hong Kong and has existed independently for many years. His debut The Blue Dragon was awarded in 1993 in the category "Best Film" at the Tokyo International Film Festival .
