William Warren "Bill" Phillips (born March 18, 1979 in Nice , France ) is a French-American basketball player . He plays for the LTi Gießen 46ers in the German basketball league . Phillips is 208 cm tall and 110 kg.
Phillips is the son of a US father and French mother who were both professional basketball players themselves.
He brings experience in other European countries to Giessen. Due to his size and his throw from the middle distance, he was hired as the successor to Ed Nelson to support Gießen in the relegation battle. He then played for two clubs abroad and is currently without a club.
