Willie Turner

Willie Turner (born October 14, 1948 ) is a retired American sprinter .

In 1967 he won silver over 100 m and gold in the 4-by-100-meter relay at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg .

In the same year he set the world record over 100 m on May 27 in Modesto with 10.0 seconds.

In 1970 he was starting NCAA championship over 220 yards for Oregon State University .
