Willoughby Gray
Willoughby Gray (born November 6, 1916 in London , England , according to other sources: Aberdeen , Scotland , † February 13, 1993 in Salisbury , Wiltshire , England) was a British stage actor who also starred in television series and films.
During the 1950s, Gray appeared in 39 episodes of the television series The Adventures of Robin Hood and appeared as Pete in Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party in 1958 . His engagements as a film actor included the role of Dr. Reilly in Revenge of the Pharaohs (1959) and that of the rogue Nazi scientist Dr. Carl Mortner in the James Bond film In the Face of Death (1985). In the late 1980s, he played banker Sir John Evens on the BBC television series Howards' Way . Gray was married to the choreographer Felicity Gray.
Willoughby Gray died on February 7, 1993 at the age of 76.
