Willy Butzen

Willy Butzen (born February 27, 1933 in Edegem , Belgium; † March 24, 1997 in the place of birth) was a Belgian cyclist.

After Butzen won three stages of the peace ride as an amateur, among other things , he turned professional in 1958. One of his greatest professional successes was winning the semi-classic Scheldt Flanders Prize in 1959. He narrowly failed twice in an attempt to win the classic Tour of Flanders and came third in 1959 and 1962.
