Willy Kalinke
Willy Kalinke (born January 27, 1904 , † 1986 ) was a German communist and resistance fighter against the Nazi regime , SED - member of the state parliament in Thuringia, department head in the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior , chairman of the state board of the VVN Thuringia, in the course of the Slansky trial from the SED excluded and politically rehabilitated in 1956 .
Live and act
Kalinke attended primary school in Dresden and then completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter . Since then he has been a member of the union . He joined the Socialist Workers' Youth (SAJ) and in 1920 the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). In 1931 he joined the Socialist Workers' Party (SAP) and in 1932 became a member of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). In 1938 he was arrested and sentenced to twelve years in prison for high treason , which he spent in Brandenburg-Görden , Westenburg in East Prussia and in Waldheim .
After the liberation from the Nazi regime , he first went to Breslau and a little later to Erfurt . Here he became a member of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED) in 1946 and with its mandate a member of the state parliament. In 1947 he was appointed head of the Office for New Citizens at the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior and in 1949 head of the training department . From 1947 he was a member of the VVN board in Thuringia and was chairman of the state board until 1949. He was expelled from the SED in 1952 because of alleged betrayal of comrades to the Gestapo , but also because of his SAP membership and the Slansky trial and even lost his entitlement to his VdN pension . Then he worked in various printing houses. In 1956 he was rehabilitated by his party and from 1959 he held party functions again. In 1974 he was recognized as a victim of the Nazi regime .
