Willy Pfeiffer (born July 29, 1879 in Stuttgart , † October 1, 1937 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German ENT doctor and head of a university clinic .

Life

Pfeiffer initially studied medicine in Tübingen for four semesters and was also active in the Corps Rhenania . Afterwards he studied one semester each in Erlangen and Kiel before he returned to Tübingen and completed his studies there in 1903 with a doctorate as Dr. med. completed. From 1903 to 1911 he was assistant to Spieß at the University Clinic in Frankfurt am Main and also ran a private practice with it. After his habilitation in 1917, he became head of the University Polyclinic for Ear and Nose Diseases in Frankfurt. During his time in Frankfurt in 1919 he played a key role in the reconstitution of the Corps Austria . He died in 1937 as a result of blood poisoning , which he sustained during an operation .
