The Wilmot River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river arises in Lake Gairdner north of the Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park , about 38 km southwest of Devonport , from the Iris River and the River Lea . From there it flows to the northeast and flows into the Forth River about 4 km southwest of the settlement of Paloona .
