Wilschana ( Ukrainian Вільшана ; Russian Ольшана Olschana ) is a village in the center of the Ukrainian Sumy with about 2200 inhabitants (2001).
Vilschana is located in the east of the Nedryhajliw district on the left bank of the Sula , a tributary of the Dnieper and on the N 07 highway between the Sumy oblast center, about 60 km to the east, and the Nedryhajliw district center, 12 km to the west .
Until 2017, Wilschana was the administrative center of the district council of the same name , which also includes the villages
- Bilojarske ( Білоярське ⊙ ) with about 200 inhabitants
- Wesnohirske ( Весногірське ⊙ ) with a population of about 50
- Nemudruji ( Немудруї ⊙ ) with about 70 inhabitants
- Rewy ( Реви ⊙ ) with about 100 inhabitants
- Fartuschyne ( Фартушине ⊙ ) with about 10 inhabitants
- Filonowe ( Філонове ⊙ ) with about 90 inhabitants
- Schapowalowe ( Шаповалове ⊙ ) with one resident
