Winden (also Winden bei Scheyern ) is a district of the municipality of Scheyern in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . Until 1975 it was the seat of the municipality of the same name .

The village of Winden is located three kilometers southwest of the core town of Scheyern.
history
The municipality of Winden, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian municipal edict, comprised an area of 9.38 km² with the places Biberg, Durchschlacht, Edling, Oberdummeltshausen, Oberschnatterbach, Rauhof, Unterschnatterbach and Zell. It was incorporated into the municipality of Scheyern on January 1, 1975 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
