Windmill (Mont-Dol)
The windmill in Mont-Dol , a French commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was built around 1843. In 1977, the former windmill was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .
The grain mill made of quarry stone and with a conical roof , which was in operation until 1954, still has the historic grinder from the time the building was built. At the end of the 19th century a steam engine was installed and replaced in 1929 so that the mill could also be operated when there was no wind.
The mill can be visited.
