The wind farm Laakdal is a wind farm of six wind turbines of the type REpower Systems MD77 with 1,500  kW power per plant on the site of Nike in Laakdal , Belgium . Each of the wind turbines used is mounted on a 111.5 meter high steel lattice tower and has a rotor diameter of 77 meters. A special feature of this wind farm is that roads through which trucks can pass run through the masts of some of these systems.
