Windy Peak is a prominent 1910  m high peak in the West Antarctic Heritage Range , the southern part of the Ellsworth Mountains . The mountain is part of the Founders Peaks and is about 3.7 kilometers southwest of the southern end of the Reuther Nunatakker .

It got its name from a University of Minnesota geological expedition that explored the area in 1963/64. It was named after the very strong winds that always prevailed here when the expedition visited.
