The Winsaberg is 1009  m above sea level. A. high mountain of the Gutenstein Alps in Lower Austria .

The summit is located in the ridge between Piesting- and Schwarzatal , which extends from Unterberg (Gutensteiner Alps) southwards to Schneeberg , and is about halfway between the two, and as far from the Rohrer Sattel in the north as from the Klostertaler Gscheid south. North of the ridge, separated by the Winsabergsattel  ( 833  m above sea level ) lies the Streimling  ( 1050  m above sea level ), south behind the saddle of the Hutbauerkapelle (Hintergscheid  788  m above sea level ) the Hutberg  ( 1170  m above sea level) . A. ). The more prominent ridge branches off southwest over the Hahnstab (Kleiner Wildföhrenstein,  1161  m above sea level ) to the Handlesberg  ( 1370  m above sea level ), it forms the main ridge of the Handlesberg – Haberkogel group of the Gutenstein Alps.

To the west of the Bodinggraben rises the cell stream , south of the Steinbach , east of the Urgersbach , the former both go to the Schwarza, the latter to the Piesting.

The mountain forms the border between the communities of Gutenstein , Rohr im Gebirge and Schwarzau im Gebirge .

It is seldom committed, it is a forest area.
