At the XI. Winter Paralympics 2014 were held between March 9 and 16, 2014 in the Laura Biathlon and Cross-Country Skiing Center , a facility built on the Psechako mountain ridge (Chrebet Psechako) near Krasnaya Polyana , twenty cross-country skiing competitions. The name "Laura" comes from a wild mountain river in the Caucasus.
