Mathieu Grébille (born October 6, 1991 in Paris ) is a French handball player who is mostly used on the left wing . At the beginning of his career he still played in the left backcourt .

The 1.98 m tall and 94 kg heavy right-handed player began playing handball at ASC Ducos Martinique in 2002 . In 2008 he moved to the French record champions Montpellier Handball . From the 2009/10 season he ran in the Ligue Nationale de Handball with the shirt number 10 and won several championship, cup, league cup and Supercup.

Internationally, he played with Montpellier four times in a row in the EHF Champions League . In 2009/10 and 2010/11 he reached the quarter-finals. In the EHF Europa Pokal 2013/14 he lost to Pick Szeged in the final . He has been under contract with Paris Saint-Germain since summer 2020 .

In the French national team , Grébille, who wears the shirt number 15, made his debut on November 1, 2012 against Lithuania . The 2014 European Championship was his first international tournament, where he scored eight goals and became European champion. He won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . He won the bronze medal at the 2019 World Cup . So far he has played 74 international matches , in which he scored 118 goals. (As of January 12, 2020)
