The Winterhorn ( Italian Pizzo d'Orsino ) is a mountain in the Gotthard massif .

The mountain is 2661 m above sea level. M. high and is located 4 km southwest of Hospental on the south side of the Urserental . The areas of the municipalities of Hospental, Realp ( canton Uri ) and Airolo ( canton Ticino ) meet at its summit .

In 1960 the Winterhorn ski lift near the village of Hospental went into operation.
