Die Winzer vom Weinsberger Tal eG is a winegrowers' cooperative based in Löwenstein in the north of the Württemberg wine-growing region . It was created in 2011 through the merger of the Löwenstein winegrowing cooperative with three other winegrowing cooperatives from Eberstadt , Willsbach and Eschenau . All of these places are in or on the Weinsberger Tal , after which the cooperative was named. As of 2017, 622 members of the winemakers from Weinsberger Tal eG cultivate an area of ​​421 hectares of vines in the Württemberg wine-growing region.

history

The cooperative was created in June 2011 through the merger of the Eberstadt winegrowers' cooperative (founded in 1923), the Willsbach wine-growers' cooperative (founded in 1924) and the Eschenau wine-growers' cooperative (founded in 1947) with the Löwenstein wine-growing cooperative (founded in 1939) as the receiving cooperative. In November 2011, the cooperative was renamed Winzer vom Weinsberger Tal eG .

Companies

The wines of the cooperative grow on Keuper and colored marl in the individual lay welfare Berg, Dieblesberg, Paradise, Eberfürst, Dezberg and Sommerhalde, all at the major site Salzberg in the area Württembergisch lowlands of the wine-growing region Württemberg count.

The storage capacity in the cooperative's tanks is approx. 12 million liters.

Products

The main grape varieties grown are Trollinger (21%), Riesling (22%), Lemberger (17%), Schwarzriesling (14%) and Pinot Noir (7%). But specialties such as Regent , Velvet Red , Chardonnay and Muscat Trollinger are also made . Wine , sparkling wine , sparkling wine , liqueur , juice and spirits are made from the grapes .
