Wioletta Potępa

Wioletta Potępa (born December 13, 1980 in Ciechanów ) is a Polish discus thrower .

The European junior champion from 1999 became national champion in 2004, but was eliminated from qualification at the Olympic Games in Athens . The following year she won the Universiade and was sixth in the World Athletics Finals . In 2006 she was again Polish champion and fifth at the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg . In 2007 she defended her national title, but did not get beyond the preliminary round at the World Championships in Osaka . Also at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, she fell out of qualification.

In 2010 she was twelfth at the European Championships in Barcelona .
