Vitaly Alexandrowitsch Jewdokimow ( Russian Виталий Александрович Евдокимов ; born March 11, 1980 in Podgorny , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with Sauralje Kurgan in the Vysschaja Hockey League since 2011 .

Career

Vitaly Evdokimow began his career as a hockey player with Energia Kemerovo , for whose professional team he was active from 2000 to 2004 in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. The goalkeeper then spent three years at Amur Khabarovsk , with whom he rose to the Super League in the 2005/06 season . After a season as a regular goalkeeper at Amur in the top Russian league, he began the 2007/08 season at HK Sibir Novosibirsk and ended it at Chimik Moskowskaja Oblast .

For the 2008/09 season Evdokimow moved to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod from the newly founded Continental Hockey League . At Torpedo he was regularly used and played a total of 39 games in the KHL. In the 2009/10 season the Russian won the second division with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk and thus achieved promotion to the KHL, but then had to leave the club and joined Molot-Prikamje Perm from the new second division for the 2010/11 season , of the Vysschaya Hockey League . For the following season he was committed by his league rivals Sauralje Kurgan .
