Vitaly Sannikov is a former Soviet ski jumper .
Career
Sannikow played his first and only major tournament with the Four Hills Tournament in 1958/59 . Already at the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf he finished 19th among the top 20. The jumping on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen went even better for him , where he achieved the best individual result with the 13th place. In Innsbruck on the Bergiselschanze he landed outside the top 20 for the first time and reached 24th place. After he reached 14th place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen , he finished the tour with 806 points on a good 15th place in the overall ranking.
