Witali Witaljewitsch Karamnow ( Russian Виталий Витальевич Карамнов ; born August 8, 1989 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Sokol Krasnoyarsk in the Vysschaya Hockey League since June 2015 . His father Vitali was also a professional ice hockey player.
Career
Vitaly Karamnow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 2005 to 2007 . In the 2006/07 season , the center made its debut for Dynamo's professional team in the Superliga , where he remained in two games point and penalty. The 2007/08 season he spent with the Everett Silvertips , for which he scored ten goals in 61 games in the Canadian Junior Western Hockey League and gave 15 templates. He then returned to his hometown club Dynamo Moscow, for which he scored a goal in eleven games in the 2008/09 season in the newly formed Continental Hockey League . In the following season , the right-shooter completed another seven games for Dynamo Moscow in the KHL, in which he gave two assists. The entire rest of the season he spent, however, with their junior team in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . In 42 games in the MHL he scored 21 goals and provided 24 templates.
For the 2010/11 season Karamnow moved within the KHL to the Latvian club Dinamo Riga . For this he then played regularly in the KHL, while he ran parallel for their partner team HK Riga in the MHL. For the following season he was committed by the HK WMF Saint Petersburg from the Wysschaja Hockey League , the new second Russian division, where his father was employed as an assistant coach. In 2012 he followed his father to KHL newcomer HC Lev Prague .
International
For Russia Karamnow took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2007 , where he won the gold medal with his team. He contributed to this success with three assists in seven games.
