The Withrow Glacier is a glacier on the Saunders Coast of Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . On the Edward VII Peninsula, it flows in a northwesterly direction to Bartlett Inlet , which it reaches immediately east of Cape Colbeck .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after William Harrill Withrow (1917-2006), the command staff of the support units of the US Navy in Antarctica and headed its delegation in Christchurch , New Zealand from 1965 to 1966 .
