The residential housing developments on Loehleplatz are a residential area in the Munich district of Ramersdorf .

This settlement was built for the association for the improvement of housing conditions in Munich (today: Gemeinnütziger Wohnungsverein 1899 eV ) between 1907 and 1927 - interrupted by the First World War . Johann Mund was in charge of the construction of the residential area . The development followed the season blueprint Theodor Fischer , who had recently entered into force before. Therefore , four-story buildings were built on the arterial road, Rosenheimer Strasse . The buildings on Weißkopfstrasse were scaled down to a two-story or one-story level.

In terms of urban planning , the designed corner buildings at the mouth of Maria-Lehner-Straße created access to the residential complexes on Loehleplatz and their squares and streets inside. Before the First World War in particular, even smaller structures were richly structured and arranged asymmetrically or symmetrically . As a result, block developments with inner courtyards as well as the streets with terraced houses were loosened up. The residential complexes on Loehleplatz are therefore considered to be a "prime example of picturesque urban development" and were aimed at the Rahmersdorf Church of St. Maria as a focal point . After the First World War, the style of the buildings changed - particularly in the case of the buildings later on on Rosenheimer Strasse. However, this remained within the specified framework.
