Wojciech Bąkowski (* 1979 in Poznan , People's Republic of Poland ) is a Polish artist , filmmaker , poet and musician .

Life

Bąkowski graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan (Akademia Sztuk Pięknich, Poznań) in 2005 . In 2004 he founded the music group Kot and wrote lyrics and melodies for them as a leader . He is also the leader of the music groups Czykita and Niwea . In 2007 he joined forces with other Polish artists to form the PENERSTWO association .

In addition, with his series of animated films, Filmy mówione ( pronounced Fime) , Bąkowski asked in an unspectacular way "how we perceive and understand our surroundings and our relationships" . His 2012 film Suchy Pion was shown in 2013 in Oberhausen as part of the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival and in 2014 in Vienna at the Vienna International Film Festival .
