Wolf-Henning Scheider (born May 6, 1962 in Saarbrücken ) is a German manager. He has been Chairman of the Board of Management at the automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen since February 1, 2018 .

Life

Scheider studied business administration at Saarbrücken University and RWTH Aachen University and graduated in 1987. He then joined Robert Bosch GmbH with a trainee program . From 1989 to 2010 he worked there in various positions and at times manager of power tools in France, chairman of the sales and marketing division in the “Car Multimedia” division, Hildesheim, and chairman of the “Gasoline Systems” division, Schwieberdingen . From 2010 to 2015 he was Managing Director of Robert Bosch GmbH, and from July 2013 also spokesman for the Automotive Technology division.

From April 2015 to January 2018, Scheider was on the management board of the Mahle Group, which he took over as chairman in July 2015. He replaced Heinz Junker there, who moved to the supervisory board.

On February 1, 2018, Scheider took over the management of the automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen . There he succeeded Stefan Sommer , who resigned in December .
