Wolfgang Amann

Wolfgang Gerhard Amann (born July 19, 1959 in Riedlingen ) is a German local politician ( non-party , later CDU ).

biography

Amman completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic and attended the Technical High School in Ulm from 1979 to 1981 . After completing his military service , Amann first studied mathematics and sports at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . He then studied engineering at the Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences and has been a graduate engineer since then .

From 1998 to 2014 he was the Lord Mayor of Geislingen an der Steige . Since he was voted out, Amann has been politically active in the CDU.
