Wolfgang Bode

Wolfgang Bode (born October 22, 1887 in Nahrendorf , Bleckede district, † November 1, 1964 in Bremen ) was a German politician ( DP ).

Life

Bode first attended primary school in Bevensen and later attended the Johanneum in Lüneburg . Studied law and political science in Tübingen and Göttingen . Bode completed his studies with the trainee exam in 1911 and then began his doctorate, which he successfully completed in 1914. He successfully passed his assessor exam in 1916. At the First World War Bode participated as an officer. Since 1919 he was a member of the German National People's Party , later he joined the German-Hanoverian Party . After the end of World War II, he was general counsel of Ilseder hut and lawyer with the qualifications lawyer specializing in tax law . From March 1942 to January 1944 he was a political prisoner in the political department of the Buchenwald concentration camp . As early as April 1945 he became a city councilor in Peine and head of the Ilseder hut . Bode was initially an NLP member after it was re-established in 1945. He was appointed a member of the Hanoverian Landtag from August 23, 1946 to October 29, 1946. After the formation of Lower Saxony, the NLP was renamed the German Party. As a DP member, Bode became a member of the Hanoverian Landtag from December 9, 1946 to March 28, 1947. In the first elected Lower Saxony Landtag, Bode moved in for the DP from April 20, 1947 to June 18, 1947. For Lower Saxony he was a member of the Economic Council of the United Economic Area from 1947 to 1949 .
