Wolfgang Boeck

Wolfgang Boeck (born January 5, 1902 in Vogelgesang , Torgau district , † September 27, 1986 in Helmstedt ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Boeck first attended elementary school and later the secondary school in Magdeburg, as well as the cadet schools in Wahlstatt and Lichterfelde.

In 1919 Boeck began an agricultural training and was then employed as an agricultural official in the provinces of Saxony and Thuringia. He began to study at the Universities of Göttingen and Berlin and was already working as a worker and student trainee in South America (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay) during his studies. In Göttingen he became a member of the Corps Hannovera . Between 1926 and 1930 he was again employed in the agricultural advisory service in the province of Saxony. Between 1930 and 1937 Boeck took on a leading position in the administration in Silesia . He had been a member of the NSDAP since May 1, 1937. Before the start of World War II , Boeck was an agricultural economic advisor between 1938 and 1939. During the war years from 1939 to 1945 he worked as a manager and consultant in Mecklenburg. After the end of the war Boeck took over the management of the home farm in Velpke .

In 1947 Boeck became district chairman of the rural people and the board of trustees for economic advice in Helmstedt. Later he was a member of the transport advisory board for Bremen and Lower Saxony and was a participant in the permanent tariff commission of the Deutsche Bundesbahn and the transport committee of the Federation of German Industries. He became a member of the Chamber of Agriculture in Hanover. At the higher regional court in Braunschweig he became an honorary higher agricultural judge at the chamber of agriculture of the higher regional court Braunschweig . He moved into the district council in Helmstedt for the CDU.

In the 3rd to 4th electoral term Boeck was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from May 6, 1955 to May 5, 1963. Between May 9, 1955 and May 5, 1959 he was a member of the DP / CDU parliamentary group. Wolfgang Boeck received the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class in 1985.
