Wolfgang Hammer (Author)

Wolfgang Hammer (born February 7, 1946 in Oberaudorf ) is a German educator and writer.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1967 at Anton-Bruckner-Gymnasium Straubing , he studied German and history in Munich, Berlin and Stuttgart for teaching at grammar schools. After his legal clerkship, he taught at the old grammar school in Flensburg until 1980. Then followed three years as a specialist advisor for German as a foreign language in Copenhagen . For the next four years he carried out practical school exercises at the Institute for Education at the University of Kiel . Back in Flensburg he was a teacher at the Auguste-Viktoria-Schule . From 1992 until his retirement in 2011 he was in charge of the high school teacher training in Rostock.

He is a trained trauma advisor ( DeGPT ).

For a time he was a member of the board of the Association of German Teachers Abroad (VDLiA) and of the federal working group of seminar and subject leaders in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

He published novels and short stories under the pseudonym Wolf Hamm . He is a member of the Association of German Writers in East Bavaria and lives in the Lower Bavarian market in Mitterfels .
