Wolfgang Heim (* 1955 in Offenburg ) is a German journalist and radio host.

Life

After studying German and politics in Stuttgart, Heim worked for various newspapers. In 1980 he began his journalistic work for the Süddeutscher Rundfunk (SDR).

In 1988, Heim developed the interview program People together with Stefan Siller , which he first moderated in alternation with Siller on the radio program SDR 3 and which has been heard on SWR1 Baden-Württemberg since the merger of SDR and SWF . People will be broadcast live on the radio Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. On Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon there is People of the Week , a cut from the programs from the previous week.

honors and awards

In 2007, Wolfgang Heim was awarded the journalist prize of the victim protection organization Weißer Ring . He received second prize in the TV / Radio category for the episode Das Ende des famililichen Glücks , in which he interviewed a mother whose eight-year-old son had been abused and murdered.
