Wolfgang Ilgenfritz

Wolfgang Ilgenfritz (born January 10, 1957 in Villach , Carinthia ; † January 18, 2013 ) was an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ).

Life

Wolfgang Ilgenfritz attended elementary school, secondary school and the commercial academy in Villach, studied business administration at the University of Graz and obtained a master's degree in social and economic sciences. He then worked for a large Carinthian tax consultancy firm for five years, and from 1986 he worked as an independent tax consultant and auditor. He was also the managing director of the Treuhand-Union Steuerberatungs- und Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and was a member of the board of the autonomous public accountants.

At the FPÖ, Ilgenfritz was a member of the Villach party executive and was a local councilor. He was an insurance representative in the control meeting of the Carinthian Regional Health Insurance Fund and was a member of the Chamber of Public Accountants . From 1997 he sat on the municipal council of Villach. From 1999 to 2004 he was a member of the European Parliament .

Ilgenfritz lived with his family in Treffen (Carinthia) . He died of sudden cardiac death.
