Wolfgang Müller (athlete)
Wolfgang Müller (born January 26, 1943 in Dresden ) is a former German sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run and started for the GDR .
In 1967 he was part of the GDR relay, which was disqualified at the European Indoor Games in Prague in the final of the 4 x 300 meter relay.
At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City , he reached the semi-finals in the individual competition and was eliminated with the GDR team in the run-up to the 4-by-400-meter relay .
In 1972 he won bronze at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Grenoble .
In 1969, 1970 and 1972 he was GDR champion and in 1968 GDR runner-up. In 1970 he won the indoor title and was runner-up in 1969.
Wolfgang Müller started for the ASK Vorwärts Potsdam .
