Wolfgang Nast

Wolfgang Nast (born September 12, 1805 , in Schwandorf ; † February 13, 1856 in Munich ) was a Bavarian Catholic clergyman and member of the state parliament.

Career

He came from Schwandorf, became a religion teacher at the Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium in Regensburg and then pastor in Sulzbach . In 1849 Nast went to Amberg as the town pastor . In 1849 and a second time from 1855 until his death he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Bavarian State Parliament .

He is praised for his pulpit eloquence, his eagerness to put an end to grievances and his affability.
