Wolfgang Röhring

Wolfgang Röhring (born January 12, 1947 in Güstrow , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ) is a former German football player. The midfielder of SV Alsenborn and his home club won the championship of the then second -rate regional football league Southwest three times in a row from 1968 to 1970 .

Personal achievements

Wolfgang Röhring was the only player who made it from the youth of SV Alsenborn to the first team, which then became champions of the Regionalliga Südwest in 1968, 1969 and 1970.

In the promotion round of the 1967/68 season he scored the 1-1 final score in the Berlin Olympiastadion in front of 85,000 spectators in the game against Hertha BSC . It should be the only home goal against Hertha in this promotion round, who were promoted to the Bundesliga after this game.
