Wolfgang Wilhelm Reich (born August 2, 1979 ) is a German sword fencer . He was German champion both individually and with the team and won silver with the team at the 2003 World Championships in Havana. His club is Heidenheimer SB .
successes
In the cadet and junior age Reich was 7th in the individual at the 1997 European Cadet Championships and 11th at the Junior World Championships in the same year. Two years later (1999) he achieved 8th place in the individual and in the team at the Junior World Championships.
In the active age group he was German champion in 2007 in the individual and second in 2002 . Reich was also successful in the team: With the Heidenheimer SB he won the German Team Championship in 2000 and three silver medals at the German Team Championships in 2006 , 2007 and 2008 . With the national team, Reich finished second at the 2003 World Cup in Havana after losing to Russia in the final. His teammates were Jörg Fiedler , Norman Ackermann and Christoph Kneip . In the individual, he finished 64th.
Life
From 2012 to 2016 Wolfgang Reich was a board member of Karwendelbahn AG. Wolfgang Reich was sentenced by the Stuttgart Regional Court in 2013 (legally binding since 2014) and may be submitted to the Executive Board according to Section 76 Paragraph 3 No. 3 of the Stock Corporation Act and is now a member of the Supervisory Board of Karwendelbahn AG.
The regional court in Stuttgart sentenced Reich to 1.5 years probation. Reich founded dozens of companies between 2000 and 2007 that transferred money to each other. After the money was entered in the commercial register, it was transferred back. From the existing assets, Reich private loans worth several hundred thousand euros were approved.
