Wolfgang Reuter (sculptor)

Wolfgang Reuter (born April 3, 1934 in Cologne ) is a German sculptor .

Life

Wolfgang Reuter studied sculpture under Ludwig Gies at the Cologne Werkschulen from 1956 to 1963 . He completed his studies as a master class student . Since 1963 he has been working as a freelance artist in Cologne and Boos (Eifel) . His work includes works for public spaces, sacred works and free works. The sculptures are made of stone, wood, bronze or clay. For the sketches, drawings and graphics he uses ink, chalk, pencil and wood print. He also designed and manufactured medals, memorial plaques and memorials.
