Wolfgang Riepl
Wolfgang Riepl (born October 14, 1864 in Losenried , † January 26, 1938 in Erlangen ) was a German journalist .
At the beginning of his professional activity, Riepl was editor-in-chief at the West Hungarian border messenger from 1890 to 1900 . From 1900 to 1932 he was editor-in-chief of the Nürnberger Zeitung . He received his doctorate in 1911 from the University of Erlangen with a thesis on ancient communications. He formulated Riepl's law , which was later named after him .
