Wolfgang Sander (* 1944 in Esseratsweiler ) is a German educator .

Life

After studying the social sciences , pedagogy and history in Münster he laid 1973, the 1st and 2nd state exam from the teaching at secondary schools. First he worked as a teacher and in the Ministry of Culture in North Rhine-Westphalia and from 1975 as an academic senior counselor at the Department of Education and Social Sciences at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster.

In 1983, with the dissertation Efficiency and Emancipation, on the principles of responsible judgment and action, he became a foundation for the didactics of political education for Dr. phil. doctorate and in 1995 with a postdoctoral thesis with a focus Radical Constructivism habilitation .

Since 2004 he has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Education and Social Sciences at Münster University.

Act

Wolfgang Sander's work lies mainly in the project work of the Federal Agency for Civic Education . He and his team of four assistants work on various projects on electoral research for teachers and students , among others in cooperation with the Ministry for Schools, Science and Research North Rhine-Westphalia.

As a professor in the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences at the University of Münster, he is responsible for the areas of educational research, philosophy, didactics, curriculum development, political education, new media, computers in class and the additional course in media education.

He is authorized to take exams for all exams at the Institute for Educational Science ; he is also the administrative director of the institute.
