Wolfgang Schütte (born January 24, 1974 in Spelle ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .
Athletic career
Schütte began his sporting career at SC Spelle-Venhaus . As an A-youth he moved to VfL Osnabrück and later moved up to the 1st team, which competed in the Oberliga Nord and from 1994 in the Regionalliga Nord. He quickly became a regular player and in 1996 moved to the league competitor in the Regionalliga Nord , VfL Herzlake .
After two seasons he moved back to Osnabrück, where he played until 2006 and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga twice (2000 and 2003). However, VfL rose again in the first second division year. From 2006 to December 2007 he was active for SV Meppen in the Oberliga Nord .
In January 2008 he switched to his original club, SC Spelle-Venhaus, where he acted as a player, assistant coach and as a substitute coach. In summer 2010 he left the team. In January 2011 he returned and coached the national league team.
Since September 10, 2015 he is assistant coach of Joe Enochs at VfL Osnabrueck.
Professional career
Schütte has been working as an independent financial advisor in Spelle since 2004 .
