Wolfgang von Nostitz

Wolfgang von Nostitz (born February 28, 1940 in Bern ) is a former German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and lawyer . He was a member of the European Parliament from 1987 to 1989 .

On February 28, 1987, von Nostitz replaced Dorothee Piermont , who - in contrast to five other members of the Greens - resigned her mandate halfway through the electoral term, in accordance with the agreed rotation principle , and joined the rainbow parliamentary group . He was a member of the Petitions Committee , the Institutional Committee and the Delegation for relations with Turkey . After the European elections in 1989 he left parliament.

In the federal election in 1990 he ran as a direct candidate in the Starnberg constituency and received 6.1%. He was also a member of the municipal council in Herrsching am Ammersee .
