Wolfhart Burdenski

Wolfhart Burdenski (born April 12, 1915 in Königsberg ; † August 28, 2010 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a judge at the German Federal Social Court from 1968 to 1978 .

After passing the first state examination in law in 1937, Burdenski took part in the Second World War. In March 1946 he returned from captivity and passed the second state examination in 1949.

Burdenski entered the higher judicial service and initially worked in the ordinary judiciary before he was seconded to the Hamburg Regional Social Court in 1954 . In 1956 he was appointed to the State Social Court Council and in 1961 he was further promoted to Senate President .

Burdenski worked at the Federal Social Court from August 1968 until his retirement on September 1, 1978, most recently as deputy chairman of the 8th and 10th Senate. He then worked as a lawyer in Frankfurt.
