Villa Wolfratshauser Strasse 61

The house Wolfratshauser Straße 61 in Munich is a listed villa in a country house style . The building is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.

location

The house is located in the Thalkirchen district of Munich in an angle between Ludwigshöher Strasse and Wolfratshauser Strasse . Since a meadow follows the corner property between these streets, the house still has an exposed location today.

history

The building was erected around 1870/1880 as a hunting lodge for consul Carl Rosipal. It was a simple house with a gable roof. In 1902–03 it was rebuilt by the Liebergesell & Lehmann construction company and the facade was decorated with Lüftlmalereien . A one-story annex building directly on Ludwigshöher Strasse was expanded to two storeys in 1922 by the Gebrüder Rank construction company .

description

The house is a two-story building. The middle of the three window axes on the entrance side on Wolfratshauser Strasse (west side) is particularly emphasized by an entrance porch and a gable . Both were created during the renovation in 1902-03, as was an oriel on the south side.
