Wolfskofen
Wolfskofen is a district of the municipality of Mintraching in the Bavarian district of Regensburg . Until 1978, Wolfskofen was part of the Rosenhof community, which, with the exception of the hamlet of Lerchenfeld, which came to the city of Neutraubling , was incorporated into the Mintraching community on May 1, 1978.
The parish village was formerly Fürstlich- Thurn und Taxisches Gut. In 1936 it was acquired by the Reich resettlement company RUGES and given to 25 families who had previously lived in the former municipality of Pappenberg on the current grounds of the Grafenwoehr military training area.
The Maria Himmelfahrt church is probably the only Catholic church building that was paid for by the National Socialist government. Inside are the altars and the miraculous image of the former Pappenberg church.
At the 1925 census, during the Gutszeit, Wolfskofen was still recorded as a hamlet with 93 inhabitants in five residential buildings.
For the first detailed post-war census in 1952, Wolfskofen is listed as a parish village with 73 residents in 11 residential buildings.
At the census of May 25, 1987, Wolfskofen had 162 inhabitants in 40 buildings with 51 apartments.
