Volodymyr Boryssowytsch Tratschuk ( Ukrainian Володимир Борисович Трачук ; born January 3, 1985 in Kremenez ) is a former Ukrainian skier who was active in Nordic combined and ski jumping .
Career
Nordic combination
Tratschuk took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf in 2005 , where he was 51st penultimate. He also took part in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, where he finished 48th in the last two competitions he had competed in. At the Universiade in January 2007 in Pragelato he was 9th in the Gundersen competition and 7th in the sprint. On February 3, 2007 he was 40th in the mass start for the first time in Zakopane on the Wileka Krokiew. In the same year he also took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Sapporo , Japan , where he was 39th and 41st in the sprint and Gundersen competition. In March 2007 Trachuk won the Ukrainian championship in the Gundersen singles from the middle hill over 15 kilometers. On February 7th and 8th, 2009 he was 23rd and 18th in Seefeld to get his first World Cup points in the two Gundersen competitions. In 2009 he took part again in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec , where he was 36th and 46th in the Gundersen competition of the Jested B and Jested A. Tratschuk jumps in the B World Cup and at the same time in the World Cup, he is the best combined skier in Ukraine. Tratschuk finished the 2008/2009 season in 54th place with 21 World Cup points.
Ski jumping
Tratschuk started at national level in ski jumping, internationally he was only used once. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Sapporo in 2007, he helped out in team jumping. With the team he reached 13th place.
