The FIS Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2009 (official name: FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping 2009 ) was one of the International Ski Federation FIS between August 8 and October 3, 2009 discharged at eight different locations in Europe and Asia series of competitions in ski jumping . The Grand Prix consisted of 9 individual and one team competitions, eight of which took place in Europe and two in Asia . The Swiss Simon Ammann won the overall standings ahead of Robert Kranjec from Slovenia and Adam Małysz from Poland . The defending champion Gregor Schlierenzauer from Austria took fifth place. Norway won the Nations Cup ahead of the teams from Japan and Austria. For the first time since the Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2000 a non-Austrian team won the Nations Cup.
