The 1998 Ski Jumping Grand Prix (official name: FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping 1998 ) was a summer series of ski jumping competitions held by the FIS World Ski Federation between August 9 and September 13, 1997 . The Grand Prix, which was held at five different locations in Europe and Asia, consisted of six individual competitions. The Japanese Masahiko Harada won the overall standings ahead of his compatriot Kazuyoshi Funaki and the German Martin Schmitt .
