The Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2001 (official name: FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping 2001 ) was a series of competitions in ski jumping held by the FIS World Ski Association between August 11, 2001 and September 9, 2001 . The Grand Prix, which was held at five different locations in Europe and Asia, consisted of seven individual competitions, four of which were held in Europe and three in Asia . The Pole Adam Małysz won the overall standings , ahead of the two Austrians Andreas Goldberger and Stefan Horngacher . The defending champion Janne Ahonen from Finland took 16th place. Austria won the Nations Cup ahead of Japan and Slovenia . The defending team Finland finished sixth.
