The Brunnentalschanze is a ski jumping hill in Stams in the Tyrolean Oberland.

history

The construction of the two Brunnentalschanzen K 105 and K 60 as a training center for Austrian ski jumpers began in 1988, but the facility, which also includes a snow-making system and a lift, was not completed until 1990. It was opened in autumn 1990 with an international opening event that was won by Andreas Goldberger at the time .

From 1994 to 2001 Stams was part of the FIS Summer Grand Prix of the special jumpers every year , but since Innsbruck and Bischofshofen were converted to matting, no international competitions have taken place on the Brunnentalschanze for ten years.

Today the two plastic covered hills are mainly used for training and by the students of the ski school. Since 2011, two competitions have been held annually on the Brunnentalschanze as part of the Summer Continental Cup.
